Job Requirements:

• Degree or Master in Counselling
• Registered and licensed Counsellor from Board of Counsellors of Malaysia
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken)
• 3 to 5 years of experience in counselling and guidance field

Job Description:                       

• Provide confidential individual counselling services on career, personal, disciplinary and academic matters
• Provide group consultation services on issues through discussion and mutual support among group members
• Conduct Psychological test such as John Holland Self Directed Search, Leonard Personality Inventory and other instruments to enhance career guidance and self-discovery
• Organise, coordinate and conduct exhibitions, talks, workshops, seminars, health screening programmes, counselling activities and other events related to Counselling and Guidance Unit and Department of Student Affairs
• Responsible for Peer Helping Programme and Peer Mentoring Programme
• In charge of report writing such as Activity Reports, Case Records, Monthly Reports, Statistical Reports, Annual Reports and minutes of meeting
• Any other duties as assigned by the University from time to time
