A bevy of former beauty queens showcased the traditional Nyonya Kebaya at a charity fashion show being held to raise funds for Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR).

Yayasan Wanita Cemerlang Datuk Dr Ng Yen Yen said a total of 16 former Miss Malaysia's would take part in the dinner-cum-fashion show on Feb 14.

She said the objective of the show will be to raise RM1mil towards the construction of UTAR's main campus in Kampar, Perak, and also to help popularize this unique cultural costume.
