RM400,000 raised for UTAR at dinner

The Tebrau MCA division raised about RM400,000 for the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) building fund during a fundraising dinner on Sunday.

The amount was from individuals and organizations in the Tebrau parliamentary constituency.

Dr Ling said students from 60 independent Chinese schools nationwide could go to UTAR to further their studies as it recognized their qualifications.
