The Star had presented a fund box to UTAR to assist the war-hit Iraqi civilians and staff and students of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) were quick to do their bit.

Student affairs manager Tian Peak Lim said they had started raising money the morning before The Star presented them with the box.

She said the students were keen to do charity and some even came back though they were on study leave.
