This is to state that the website www.utar.edu.my is the only official website of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman. The University regrets but views as serious, mischievous, unethical, illegal and an infringement of copyright and other intellectual property laws attempts by certain persons or organizations to misuse the University's name, goodwill and reputation solely for selfish and illegal gains and in the process tarnish the good name of the University.

The University will adopt whatever legal means it deems necessary to prevent abuse of its goodwill and reputation including but not restricted to legal prosecution of persons or organizations involved.

This is to further state that the domain identified or accessible as www.utar.my is not the official website of the University but one which is created with intent to misuse the good name of the University and to deceive the public. The University states that the University has no legal or formal relations with the persons or organization concerned and the University is not responsible for statements or representations made by such persons or organization.
