Chendrong – recycling and health checkups
A recycling campaign similar to that at Air Kuning was held by 42 WCWA volunteers at Chendrong on 30 June 2012. They generated greater interest among the villagers on recycling.
As early as 8.00am, Dr Yang Zao from the Department of Chinese Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, who accompanied the group, provided health checkups to the villagers. He was aided by four student volunteers from his faculty.
