About 400 visitors, including students from a few secondary schools, turned out at an exhibition held by UTAR Centre of Foundation Studies (CFS) to showcase the centre at UTAR Petaling Jaya Campus on 23 June 2012.
Various activities were carried out throughout the one-day event. Besides CFS staff and students, some activities even involved the students’ parents. Among the highlights was a sharing session by entrepreneur Shaun Lee, co-founder of Milk-A-Deal – an e-business budget deal portal.
Another highlight was Choong Jian Han and Nevins Chan’s jaw-dropping performance, where the duo solved the Rubik cube puzzle within three minute and then solving it blindfolded.
The exhibition was a fun-filled platform for CFS students to showcase what they had learnt. They exhibited their paintings, demonstrated lab experiments (picture), and participated in a photography competition and flea market.
