Sungai Siput – volunteers learn
The WCWA English and IT training workshop was conducted on 31 March 2012 in Sungai Siput New Village near Kampar where 35 volunteers taught 23 schoolchildren of Sungai Siput Selatan Sin Min Chinese primary school English and IT with their computer training aids.
"I enjoy helping the villagers through this community service project because I learn about teamwork and leadership," said team leader Tan Zhi Yun.
Another volunteer Fong Woei Lunn said, "I have learnt to appreciate what I have and be grateful that I am luckier than most of the village children."
