| UTAR Biotechnology degree student Tay Yi Lun proved his special affinity for literature when he was announced one of the winners in the 12th Religious Literary Award in February 2014. |
Dr Hue received the certificate for being the youngest PhD holder in Malaysia. She first received her degree at UTAR and graduated with a First Class Honours in Biotechnology in 2009. The science prodigy subsequently pursued her PhD in Bio-Chemical and Plant Biotechnology at Universiti Malaya and was awarded her doctorate in 2012.
