UTAR Trekathon 2008

Alumni are invited to participate in the UTAR Trekathon 2008 to be held at Bukit Gasing, Petaling Jaya, Selangor on Sunday, 9 November 2008 from 8.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. Only 30 places are allotted to UTAR alumni. Sign up fast!

Come join in the Bukit Gasing Trekathon as it is good for health and enhances relationship between students of various institutions. The Trekathon allows participants to socialise and interact with another. Moreover it will increase the awareness amongst them on the impact of development on the environment as well as enhances their appreciation of nature.

Participation in the Bukit Gasing Trekathon is open to all UTAR students and alumni and students from invited institutions - Univerisiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia, Kojadi Institute and Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman.

There will be four categories: UTAR women and men categories, Open (UTAR alumni, Kojadi, KTAR & UPNM) women and men categories.

The event is organised by the UTAR Department of Student Affairs with the assistance from UTAR students? Sports Club, Askar Wataniah and First Aid Society.

Medals will be awarded to the champions (gold), first runners-up (silver) and second runners-up (bronze) for all categories.

No fee will be charged on participants.

Closing date for signing up is 31 October 2008.
