SPECIAL TRAINING PROGRAMMES AND CAREER OPPORTUNITIES SUPPORTED BY MALAYSIAN GOVERNMENT

(A) Government's Train and Place Program

The Malaysia Ministry of Human Resources has appointed Job Hunt Sdn Bhd to implement the "Call Centre Excellence Training Program" under the "Train and Place Scheme" to retrain our valuable human resources. This program is suitable for all students from any faculty and field of study. Please find out more from the attachment above about syllabus content.

The eligible categories for this scheme are :

1.       Retrenched Workers (RW)

Employees with diploma and/or degree who had been retrenched/are being retrenched.

2.       Unemployed Youth (UY)

Unemployed diploma and/or degree holders not exceeding 45 years of age.

3.       Unemployed Graduates

Unemployed fresh diploma and/or degree holders who are seeking employment.

The purpose of the above said scheme is to assist these jobseekers in job placements, provide skills upgrading and enhance employability.

Implementation of this scheme is based on the "Train and Place" concept whereby diploma and/or degree holders and those who had been retrenched and are actively seeking employment are given the opportunity to be trained on specific skills based on available job vacancies or specific requirements by employers.

This agent has been appointed to focus on Call Centre training programs and companies operating Call Centres will benefit from the above said "Call Centre Excellence Training Program" which has been tailored made especially for them. The target participants for this program will largely encompass those from Customer Service to Telesales. This program is fully endorsed and recognized by the Ministry of Human Resources. 

Details of the above said scheme/program:

.         There is NO COST involved for the companies/employers or the participants.

.         There is NO CHARGE on recruitment fees.

.         The participants will be paid an allowance of RM500.00 to RM800.00 upon successful completion of the said program.

o   Single participants will be paid an allowance of RM500.00 each.

o   Married participants will obtain an additional allowance of RM100.00 for spouse and an additional allowance of RM50.00 for each child, up to 4 children.

.         Duration of the program will be 5 weeks (intensive training), commencing from 1st   September 2009, Mondays to Fridays.

.         Location shall be in Klang Valley and other designated locations outside Klang Valley.

.         Ability to read and write in English will be a pre-requisite requirement.

(B) Iskandar Malaysia Graduate Leadership Assessment and Development (IMGLAD) leadership development programme

 

Iskandar Malaysia Graduate Leadership Assessment and Development (IMGLAD) is a graduate leadership development programme aimed at building a sustainable leadership pipeline in Iskandar Malaysia. This programme is part of Iskandar Regional Development Authority?s (IRDA) efforts to address various human capital issues and challenges within the nine targeted economic clusters in Iskandar Malaysia.

 

IMGLAD is a collaboration between Iskandar Malaysia UTM Research Centre (IMREC) and Deloitte. The IMREC-Deloitte partnership offers extensive experience in education and training through Deloitte-UK?s Education and Skills Team. This programme consists of two parts:

 

1.       3-month classroom training aimed at enriching core soft skills

2.       6-month internship placements to provide opportunities for practical application of skills

 (C) Marketing Ambassador Development program

Kolej MASA would invite you to join the Marketing Ambassador Development program that will commence on 1 September 2009. This program is part of the Human Resource Ministry's Train & Place initiative to assist you in obtaining a job as soon as possible. In fact under this program, you no longer need to look for the job.

After the 3 months training duration, you will immediately be placed with MASA Edu Resources Sdn Bhd as an Education Facilitator. Accordng to Kolej MASA, notonly is this job challenging but it pays well too.

(D) FREE ERP Training

Astrums Consulting (Malaysia, Singapore, UK & Dubai) would like to inform you that they have a 1 month ERP training programme worth more than RM 20,000 per student provided free of charge starting 1st Sept 2009 which can chart promising career paths for you. This programme is sponsored by the government under the stimulus package and with placement options upon completion of training.

Closing date for the 1st Sept 2009 intake is 21st Aug 2009.

Below are the details you should know. Please email them asap

Documents to Bring and submit(courier if you are unable to come to their office) before 12noon 21st Aug 2009 for 2nd training intake which starts on 1st Sept 2009:

- Attached Trainee Information Form to be filled

- One Passport size photo

- clear copy of IC

- Copy of passbook/statement of Public Bank account with name and account number and latest updated transaction(to show a/c active). If no account,
you have to open a new account with RM 20.00 

(The Public Bank statement and details can be submitted by fax before 6pm 24th Aug 2009)

About the Company:
Astrums Consulting Sdn Bhd is a multinational company with head office in
Singapore and with branches in Malaysia, UK, Dubai and India.

They specialize in SAP outsourcing, support and implementation. They also do various IT related services. At present our branch in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently awarded as ERP training partner to assist the local fresh graduates and retrenched who would like to enhance their skills and knowledge on ERP.

About the Training:

The training is absolutely FREE of CHARGE.

This training program is funded by the government of Malaysia and it aims to give participants especially fresh graduates an overview on ERP and how it can help you get a good job in the local market. Upon completion of the training, they will give you a training completion allowance of RM 500.00 and will assist you getting a job to their current clients in Malaysia.  To learn

What are the Requirements to Qualify as Trainee:

- You must be Malaysian

- Fresh graduates with CGPA of 2.5 and above

- Willing to attend 1 month Training in our specified training venue

- Good command of English

Where & When to Go:

Between 10th Aug 2009 and 21st Aug 2009  from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
