Some 1,600 UTAR students and alumni from Faculty of Accountancy and Management (FAM), Faculty of Information and Communication Technology (FICT), Faculty Creative Industries (FCI), and Faculty of Engineering and Science (FES) were attracted to visit more than a hundred exhibition booths during UTAR Career Days organized at Bandar Sg Long, Petaling Jaya and Setapak campuses respectively on March 30th, April 2nd and 7th, 2010.

This event had drawn 84 companies to set up 125 exhibition booths for job applications and enquiries from interested job seekers. Four career counseling booths were also set up as well to assist the visitors who comprised UTAR final year students and alumni.

The main objective of this career fair to enhance UTAR students' employability and career development was achieved when many students grabbed the opportunity to attend walk-in interviews provided by the participating companies. Some of the fortunate ones even managed to walk away with job offers event before their graduation in March, 2010. Among the activities organized during the Career Days were 16 career talks conducted by invited speakers. The topics covered included career opportunities and tips on how to prepare for the job market.
