60 employers in Perak career fair

UTAR Department of Alumni Relations and Placement regularly organises career fairs to bring prospective employers to meet up with future UTAR graduates.

The career fair held at UTAR Perak Campus on 3 and 4 April 2013 saw 60 companies exhibiting. Most of the companies came as early as 8.00am to set up their booths at Heritage Hall where they searched for potential future employees in the two days.

Over 900 well dressed-up students turned out eagerly ready for interviews. Students visited the booth for more information and better insight about their future employers. Over 100 students attended three career talks: ?Are You Ready To Get Hired?? by JobStreet.com Sdn Bhd, ?Maybank Hour? by Malayan Banking Berhad (Maybank), and ?New Generation Internet Business in the 21^st Century? by U-Image Sdn Bhd.

The career fair ended with a lot of anticipations from either the employers or students as to whether there would be a successful ?job marriage? in the future.
