Sheryl: Without UTAR, who would I be?

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to UTAR for sharpening my communication skills. I have gained valuable knowledge in UTAR which is helping me a lot in my working life now.

The three years in campus had been the best and most relaxing time of my life. No doubt, there were pressure doing assignments and taking examinations but on hindsight, now I know that it was actually a process to prepare me to face the career life, as in our careers we face failures, obstacles and pressure.

I remember as a fresh graduate with no working experience I had to learn and start from zero. The worst part was that it was my first time coming to Kuala Lumpur to work as I had been a Kamparian since birth till my university days. In Kuala Lumpur, I had to find a room to rent and learn how to take public transportation. I thank my friends, who are with me here, for helping and guiding me all this while.

My first job was in JobStreet.com and I found my present job through a webpage of JobStreet.com, while I still remain as an Account Manager in JobStreet.com. JobStreet.com is indeed a very good company. It has given me a lot of career advancement prospects. It has a friendly working environment where the managers and colleagues are all very helpful. I am glad that I joined JobStreet.comJ

No doubt, I have also made a lot of friends in my present company because we get to make friends in every path in life that we walk, but I will never forget my buddies in UTAR. Again thank you, UTAR, for shaping me and providing me with a strong foundation for me to face the challenges aheadJ
