Alumni Liaison Representative New Year Gathering

On Saturday, 22 February 2014, about 50 UTAR alumni and student leaders attended the Alumni Liaison Representative New Year Gathering.

The event commenced with UTAR Vice President for Internationalisation and Academic Development Prof Dr Ewe Hong Tat delivering his welcome speech to all UTAR alumni and student leaders.

The audience was then invited to a lunch and social interaction with UTAR senior management officials.

UTAR Alumni Association chairperson Ng Yi Ming briefed the audience on the history of UTAR Alumni Association, benefits of becoming a member and also the differences between becoming a member of UTAR Alumni Association and UTAR alumni.

Gan Yu Han, an alumnus from FES, introduces Makerzone.net, which he and his co-partners, Mak Kwan Wuey and Liu Chee Wei formed after they graduated from UTAR.

Then, Ong Tze Kuan, graduand from FAM who will be graduating in the upcoming March 2014 Convocation, introduced services provided by his company, Easy Taxi, to the audience.
