When I entered UTAR, I was thinking to myself, 'My God, I'm going to be here for four years. It feels like it is going to be a long time.' That was my first thought as I sat down for my first tutorial on my first day in UTAR. Little did I know, during my last semester, I was practically dreading my last semester as I knew this was all going to end. Being from Science stream, I was scared that I was not going to make it as I entered into the Bachelor of Accounting (HONS) in Utar Sg. Long Campus. However with the guidance of my coursemates as well as my lecturers, I was able to handle the pressures and stress of my studies. UTAR gave me assurance that the degree I was going to have was going to help me make it in this unknown world.

UTAR has also given many bittersweet memories through the friendships that I have forged with my coursemates who are my dearest friends to this date. We have helped each other through many obstacles in our studies and outside of our studies as well. I couldn't have asked for a better bunch than them.

Besides that, UTAR gave me a voice that I thought I never had. Before this, I never had the experience of standing on a stage and talking to a big group of people. I started off doing small events in UTAR. It was then I realized I had a voice and people were eager to listen to me. I loved being on the stage from that moment on and was constantly emceeing events in UTAR. The management of UTAR even offered me to emcee for their events. I was so grateful for the opportunities that I had received and have gained so much of experience from that.
