Why Must I Come

Since working in UTAR Department of Students Affairs, I realized how hard to organize an event. I know how much preparation work needs to accomplish in order to organize either a big or small one. For example, for UTAR Ball, organizer needs to book venue, looks for performers, sponsorship and all kind of other coordination work. As a participant, we just attend and spend about 4 hours there. Whereas for the organizer, he needs about 3-6 months to prepare for it.

To attend an alumni Get-Together Lunch, he can enjoys foods and enjoy performance without any charges. Besides, I see no reason why an alumni cannot just spend about 5 hours to get update and opportunity to get to know more people and build up the networking within this circle. We should appreciate all the hard works which have been rendered by the organizer even if it was not well organized. We should give constructive feedback so that it will be improved for the next event.

I urge alumni to come back to UTAR's big family, our door is open for you.
