The journey of Ph.D. is never an easy path. I am sure most or all of the Ph.D. candidates will agree. Because it is never an easy task, hence it is worthwhile pursuing. Ph.D. is an intellectual, emotional and personal journey. With persistence, hard work and discipline, you will be able to successfully complete the journey. The spirit of 'Never Give Up' and 'Hang In There': will be your daily motto. This is my personal experience.

My humble achievement today is attributed to many kind souls and sincere assistance from various parties. First and foremost, I would like to thank my University, UTAR, for granting me the opportunity to pursue my study. In my journey to complete my study, I owe my gratitude to many people. Some guided and coached me in the technical aspect while some helped me by lending support. There were also many colleagues who assisted me in many forms. I would like to take this opportunity to record my appreciation to all of them.

My sincere thanks to my supervisors, Dr. Ong Seng Fook Ong and Dr Tan Pei Meng; prominent academicians: Prof. Ramayah, Prof. Choong Chee Keong, Dr. Lau Teck Chai. Dr. Law Kian Aun, Dr Steven Chong. Not forgetting Dr. Lim Yet Mee Lim who guided me in my earlier path.

My special thanks to my Dean, Dr. Sia Bee Chuan, my Deputy Dean, Dr. Kevin Low, colleagues: Dr. Cham Tat Huei, Dr. Pok Wei Fong, Dr. Hen Kai Wah. Thank you also to all the support staff in UTAR who helped me in my journey to complete my Ph.D..

I pray that I am blessed with good health to continue to contribute to my University and to society.

Last but not least, my sincerest thanks to my parents who had raised me up, my caring and supportive spouse that never fail to support me with his unconditional love and my dearest children.
