Associate Professor Ir Ts Dr Jeffrey Yap is a distinguished project management lecturer in the built environment at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR), Malaysia. Valedictorian and recipient of the Best Student Award for his PhD in Project Management from IUMW, he also holds an MSc in Construction Management and a BEng in Civil Engineering. With senior roles in top property firms and experience as an international design engineer, Jeffrey is a registered Professional Engineer (PEng), Professional Technologist (PTech), and a PMP®-certified project manager.
Bridging academia and industry, Jeffrey specialises in project management, sustainable development, and knowledge management. He is also a seasoned professional trainer, having conducted numerous project management and PMP® certification trainings - both in-house and public - empowering professionals with practical, industry-ready skills.
An active researcher and international collaborator, Jeffrey has published over 80 scholarly articles and received honours such as the Emerald Literati Outstanding Paper Award and the Best Paper Award at international conferences, cementing his reputation as a leading voice in construction and real estate innovation. His career reflects a strong commitment to excellence, industry relevance, and impactful knowledge transfer.
