ASST. PROF. DR. HADI GUNA GRAD.ENG is an assistant professor at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, UTAR since 2020. He is a registered graduate engineer authorised by Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). He completed his Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics & System Engineering at National University of Malaysia (UKM) with research interest in Optical Communication & Fiber Optics in 2019. His outstanding academic background and nine years of experience working as a Graduated Research Assistant (GRA) and lecturer have helped him to develop his skills as a researcher and instructor. His doctoral dissertation also focusses on advanced engineering techniques, which he finds would be a great addition to the success of his teaching department. The following is a summary of his qualifications:-

• More than ten years of progressively responsible research experience;
• Awarded with Upper Second-Class Honours for undergraduate degree;
• Published at least fifty-five (58) high impact scientific papers (Journal & Proceeding) indexed by WoS (6 manuscripts) and SCOPUS (36 manuscripts) with h-index of 5;
• Three (3) Research Grant approved (FRGS, PRGS and UKM Innovation Funds);
• Winning fourteen (14) national & international award for my Ph.D. research, included INNOVA-BRUSSELS, Belgium
• Advanced in computer, writing optical fiber and networking skills;
• Registered as a Graduate Engineer with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) under Electrical Field.
