Malaysia Festival of the Mind is held annually and has been well-supported since its inaugural launch in 2007. The festival has attracted favourable response from all segments of society, from children to adults to retirees. It is a testament that age is no barrier to the pursuit of knowledge or mental literacy for continuous personal improvement.

• To imprint on the national consciousness the importance of mental literacy, i.e. intellectual resources for the nation’s growth, development and progress as well as the pursuit of quality life of all Malaysians.
• To introduce and to promote various techniques and skills pertaining to the improvement of mental literacy among Malaysians, such as memory skill, thinking skill, enhancing the right brain, speed reading, creativity, etc.
• To create awareness about the human mind and its unlimited potential; and ways of tapping into and developing one’s brainpower

The Great Mind will continue to share its expansion of knowledge and skills in mental literacy. The festival is seen to bring together all the great minds from every level of society to learn ways to improve and sharpen their minds. These activities encourage integration and unity among the community as they can be participated by people from all walks of life. This year the Festival presents the 4th Inter-Varsity Sudoku Tournament, ISSF Sport Stacking Competition, Rubik’s Cube Competition, Mini Memory Competition, ARLETA Augmented Reality Colouring Contest, Mental Literacy Talks, exhibition, Green Glade Activities and many more exciting mind blowing events. The festival is proudly supported by Yayasan Wanita Cemerlang.
