Themed "Innovation and Effective Teaching Methods in Science Education", the inaugural UTAR Symposium on Science Education 2014 was held at UTAR Perak Campus on 23 August 2014 and it was a great success.

Themed “Broadening the Horizon of Innovation in Science and Mathematics Education”, the Symposium on Science Education 2015 was held at UTAR Sungai Long Campus on 5 September 2015. It was another success, attracting a total of 196 attendees.
