Announcement Final Exam
Attention to ALL UTAR Chinese Medicine Year 5 Trimester 3 Students,
Please be informed that the final exam (part of the Chinese Medicine Professional Examination) is scheduled on Thursday, 4 May 2017.
The venue and the time scheduled for the theory paper examination is as follow:
venue: KA341
time: 0900 - 1015
The venue and the time scheduled for the practical examination is as follow:
venue: KA212
time: 1200 - 1700
*Students MUST arrive at the venue at least 15 minutes before the examination starts.
The final exam is composed of of two sections which are the theory paper examination and the practical examination.
The basic format for the theory paper is as follow:
1.100 questions.
2.Structure of questions: Single Best Answer Questions & Multiple Choice Questions.
3.Scope: Preclinical subject (Basics of TCM, TCM Diagnostics, Chinese herbal Medicine and Chinese Medical Prescription) and clinical subject (Internal Medicine of TCM, Gynaecology of TCM, Paediatrics of TCM, Tui-na, Acupuncture and Moxibustion).
The basic format for the practical exam is as follow:
1. 5 stations.
2. Assessment format for TCM diagnostics, western medicine diagnostics, Tui-na, Acupuncture and Moxibustion: OSCE.
3. Assessment format for herbal medicine: OSPE.
