Asst Prof Dr Cheah Phaik Kin

Advanced Facilitation Skills for Teaching Professionals

This project uses the experimental design to test the effectiveness of the training on advanced facilitation skills for lecturers. The objective of this research is to evaluate the effectiveness of the training module in addressing the training needs of the lecturers. The lecturers with the training gap were selected to attend the training module and a post-test was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of the module in closing the training gap.

Afi Roshezry Bin Abu Bakar

TUN TAN CHENG LOCK'S BIOGRAPHY RESEARCH PROJECT 

This project uses the both qualitative and quantitative methods by looking at the historical perspectives of the late of Tun Tan Cheng Lock. The objective of this research to look into the various aspects of the Life and Thought of Tun Tan Cheng Lock with the aim of publishing a book on the subject.

Dr Noew Hooi San

Chinese Malaysian: Our Identities

This project aims to explore the social and political identities of Chinese Malaysians which have yet to be clearly defined, despite being deemed unique. The identities will be constructed via information gathered through interviews with Chinese Malaysians across 3 different generations from Penang, Pahang, Johor and Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. The findings would hopefully provide a better understanding of Chinese Malaysian identities to the nation.
