International Youth Development Conference 2019, 27-28 July 2019, UTAR Kampar Campus
Dear all,
We are pleased to organise the International Youth Development Conference 2019, themed 'Evolving Roles of Youths: Global Talent Mobility', from 27th to 28th July 2019 at UTAR, Kampar Campus. You are cordially invited to the conference.
Aim:
Preparing our Youths to be ready global citizens and to embrace talent mobility.
Objectives:
1. To enable Youths to identify beliefs, values and behaviours that form individual and community identities and the basis for respectful relationships.
2. To enable our Youths to reinforce diverse learning and extend their international perspective.
3. To build awareness on identifying and challenging unjust practices in local and global systems.
4. To encourage participating students to be socially conscious and caring global citizens.
This conference will be held for two days, which include talks, workshops and forum by prominent speakers / trainers sharing their valuable experience and knowledge. Thus, through a series of an active learning process, student engagement can be promoted and strengthened effectively.

MAY 2019 Application for Vehicle Sticker
Price: RM106 for car (Kampar Campus ONLY) & RM10.60 for motorbike for MAY 2019 trimester
Vehicles with JANUARY 2019 VEHICLE STICKERS and MAY 2019 VEHICLE STICKERS are allowed to enter the campus from 27 MAY 2019 until 2 JUNE 2019.
From 03 JUNE 2019 ONWARDS, vehicles with MAY 2019 VEHICLE STICKERS ONLY are allowed to enter the campus.

UTAR KAMPAR & SUNGAI LONG CAMPUSES - CAR/MOTORBIKE STICKERS FOR MAY 2019 TRIMESTER (1 TRIMESTER ONLY, VALID UNTIL 20 OCTOBER 2019)
Price: RM106.00 for car sticker (Kampar Campus Only) / RM10.60 for motorbike sticker.
Details to obtain such stickers are as follows.
- Online Registration
- You may register online any time BETWEEN 12.01A.M., 20 MAY 2019 (MONDAY) to 11.59 P.M., 23 MAY 2019 (THURSDAY).
- Procedure:
Visit UTAR homepage HTTP://WWW.UTAR.EDU.MY
- Click on to”UTAR Portal" tab on UTAR homepage and login to student Intranet using your user ID and password.
- Click on "Registration for car or motorbike park balloting" tab on the Home screen from student Intranet.
- Key in all required information (car /motorbike registration number, your telephone number and other necessary details)
- Ballot number will be assigned to you once you click "Register".
- Note: If you wish to change any details you have entered, you may do so during the period of registration as stated. No changes are allowed after that.
** Each student can only register once and any car / motorbike number can only be entered once. Upon registration, you will be issued a ballot number. Sticker will not be issued due to wrong selection of vehicle type although the balloting is successful.
- Results of Ballot
Balloting will take place on FRIDAY, 24 MAY 2019 by the Management and the list of successful applicants will be posted on notice boards and announced via the student Intranet by 10.00 A.M. ON THE SAME DAY.
Note: If you are successful in your ballot, your vehicle sticker will be issued to the car / motorbike number as specified in your application - NO CHANGE OF CAR / MOTORBIKE REGISTRATION NUMBER WILL BE ENTERTAINED AFTER THE REGISTRATION PERIOD AND PAYMENT FOR STICKER IS NON - REFUNDABLE.
Only vehicles with valid UTAR stickers can enter the University car park. Selling of the stickers and/or buying the stickers from other sources such as Facebook or third parties are illegal and it is a serious offence. UTAR is now taking serious action against those found guilty of this offence. The owner of the vehicle sticker who consents and allows his/her vehicle sticker to be utilized for a purpose contrary from which it is issued shall be penalized by having to forfeit his/her eligibility to use his/her vehicle sticker for the rest of the validity period, unless he/she, prior to the occurrence of the incident, had reported to DSA the loss of his/her vehicle sticker. The vehicle sticker is the sole responsibility of the applicant/owner of the vehicle sticker.
Balloting will be witnessed by the Student Representative Council. RESULTS OF THE BALLOTING ARE FINAL.

PROCESS OF OBTAINING VEHICLE STICKER (NEW)
IF YOUR BALLOT FOR VEHICLE STICKER IS SUCCESSFUL (Successful ballots will be put up on notice boards on
24 May 2019 at 10.00 am), THE PROCESS OF OBTAINING VEHICLE STICKER IS AS FOLLOWS:
1) Students makes payment ONLY at Public Bank Branches OR through Public Bank Internet Banking from 25 May 2019 until 30 May 2019. The Pro-forma student bill for vehicle sticker is available at student portal (my billing) from 24 May 2019, 11.00 a.m. onwards (IMPORTANT: PAYMENT FOR VEHICLE STICKER IS NON-REFUNDABLE IF THE STUDENT CHOOSE WRONG VEHICLE TYPE DURING REGISTRATION OR THE STUDENT DOES NOT OBTAIN A VALID DRIVING LICENSE)
2) Student has to prepare relevant documents* and complete 1 copy of Application for Vehicle Sticker form [Downloadable at http://bit.ly/1HOooHx (Kampar Campus) / http://bit.do/dWf29 (Sungai Long Campus) as the form is no longer provided by the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) and the form is only valid for May 2019 trimester] before submission to DSA for approval on the next working day after making payment at Public Bank branches or through Public Bank Internet Banking.
For example, student who makes payment on 25 May 2019 (Saturday) has to submit vehicle sticker application to DSA earliest on 27 May 2019 (Monday). Another example, student can only submit vehicle sticker application to DSA earliest on 30 May 2019 (Thursday) if he/she pays on 29 May 2019 (Wednesday).
*THE BELOW FORM IS VALID FOR MAY 2019 TRIMESTER ONLY.

Only successful applicants in e-ballot are required to download the 'Application for Vehicle Sticker Form' (ABOVE) AND PRINT OUT by your own in A4 WHITE paper. Other colors paper ARE NOT Acceptable.
3) DSA will issue a vehicle sticker to the student concerned. The obtaining of vehicle sticker is from 27 May 2019 to 31 May 2019. After the expiry date, successful applications are assumed to have rejected the issuance of vehicle stickers. Inspection of vehicle will commence on 3 June 2019 onwards.

All official stickers are numbered and registered when sold. Do not purchase stickers from any other source and PAYMENT FOR STICKER IS NON-REFUNDABLE.
NOTICE - Uncollected Vehicle Stickers (UTAR - Kampar & Sungai Long Campus)
Please be informed that a fine of Ringgit Malaysia Fifty (RM50.00) shall be imposed on students in the event of non-collection sticker of their successful ballot with effect from May 2013.
The fine will be charged into their trimester's student bill or convocation bill or any bill whichever is later.

Warning Mail Regarding Fake Vehicle Stickers and Fake Medical Chits (M.C.)
Dear Students,
The University takes serious view on the issue of fake vehicle stickers and fake medical chits.
With IMMEDIATE EFFECT, students who are found guilty:
(a) involving in the selling of fake car stickers / fake medical chits will be TERMINATED from their studies
(b) involving in the buying of fake stickers / fake medical chits will be SUSPENDED from their studies (the period of suspension will be determined at the relevant Disciplinary Committee)

Expired Student ID Cards
Dear Students,
Please check the validity date on your student ID card. If your student ID card has expired, kindly proceed to SODEMC for renewal. The renewal fee is RM25 per year. For your information, students who are carrying expired student ID cards are not allowed to enter the campus and also not entitled for any student benefits.

Please take note that with IMMEDIATE EFFECT, students caught and found guilty of submitting fake MCs, doctored /
amended MCs, etc. will be given TWO (2) trimesters suspension (instead of the current ONE trimester suspension).
