Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and Queensland University of Technology (QUT) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) yesterday in Petaling Jaya, an understanding which will enable the two institutions to organise study visits and student exchange programmes, share knowledge, expertise and experiences, and become partners in developing postgraduate programmes and support services for academic staff.
UTAR Council Chairman Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik, who witnessed the signing of the MOU, said it was further proof of the universities' continuing co-operation and collaboration for mutual benefit.
UTAR President and CEO Tan Sri Datuk Dr Ng Lay Swee said the co-operation would enhance understanding and interaction between students from both universities.
