UTAR Campus Ahead of Schedule
The first phase of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR)'s permanent campus in Kampar will be completed in March 2006, four months ahead of the initial deadline said its Council Chairman Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik with satisfaction at the progress of the construction work after visiting the site on 15 September.
"We have to be careful at this stage as this is a multi-storey project," he said, adding that the campus would have a unique international design.
On the funds raised so far, he said RM160 million of the RM200 million pledged by the public had been collected.
