Aussie study visit for UTAR Group

Twenty-two students from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) will be able to experience Aussie campus lifestyle as they go on a 7-day educational tour to two Australian universities, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) and Bond University, starting tomorrow.

Launching the second educational tour of the university yesterday, UTAR Council Chairman Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik urged the students to grasp as much knowledge as possible when visiting the two Australian campuses.

UTAR President and CEO Tan Sri Datuk Dr Ng Lay Swee, who was also present at the launch with the university's Registrar Chee Ah Kiow, said the students would be able to experience the QUT campus lifestyle as they would be attending classes at the university during the trip.

Second-year Public Relations student Wong Wai Quan, 23, said she hoped to learn the differences between local and foreign campus lifestyles.
