10,000 For Final Leg Of Run Before UTAR Ground-Breaking Event

In Ipoh, about 10,000 people, comprising MCA Youth members and supporters from various associations and the public, are expected to take part in the final leg of the Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) torch run before the ground-breaking ceremony for the university in Kampar on Sunday.

The final leg of the torch run would start at the Kampar town padang at noon, ahead of the UTAR Ground-Breaking and MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Ling Liong Sik is expected to receive the torch at 1.45pm. MCA Youth deputy chief and Kluang MP Ho Seong Chan would also light the cauldron at the site.
