Most Utar graduates employed within 6 months

KUALA LUMPUR: More than 98.5% students of University Tunku Abdul Rahman (Utar) were employed in the first six months upon graduation.

Utar president Datuk Dr Chuah Hean Teik was happy to announce the statistics for Utar employment percentage at the fifth Career Fair at Utar Petaling Jaya campus Monday.

"We are glad that even during this economy crisis, we have nearly 50 companies participating in this fair. The number is higher than last year?s participation," said Dr Chuah.

Dr Chuah also added that this would be a good opportunity for Utar students to grab especially for early employment even before graduation.

Utar council chairman Tun Dr Ling Liong Sik who was also present to officiate the opening ceremony, said that student should always look out for opportunity to come up in life. He later visited all the booths in the fair.
