MCA president Datuk Seri Ling Liong Sik has been elected Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman chairman at the inaugural meeting of the university council members today.

Kolej Tunku Abdul Rahman principle Datuk Dr Ng Lay Swee has been appointed UTAR's first president and chief executive officer.
