1.0 Definition
The Best Club and Society Award shall be awarded to a club and society committee that has performed an excellent job within their elected term of service - from 1 April to 31 March.
2.0 Objectives
2.1 To encourage and create a positive competition mechanism among Students - clubs and societies.
2.2 To enhance the performance of Students' clubs and societies.
2.3 To recognize the Students' clubs and societies.

4.0 Description
DSA will fully track and administer this matter.
An award will be giving according to the categories as below:-
1) Course based category
2) Non-course based category
The points calculated will be as follows:

The society / club with the highest total points will be the winner of the respective categories.
In the event of a tie, the highest total points obtained by adding the points from items 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 in the criteria given above will determine the winner of the tie.
5.0 Award
5.1 A Challenge Trophy for the Best Club and Society
a) Course based category
b) Non-course based category
5.2 FREE ticket for UTAR BALL
13 tickets for committee members of best club and society for each category
5.3 Certificate of Achievement
13 pcs for committee members, 2 pcs for adviser & co-adviser, and 1 pcs for officer-in-charge of the club/society for all categories
5.4 Cash award
A cash award of RM500.00 to be deposited into the account of the winning society or club.
5.4 Award Ceremony
The award is to be given ONCE in an academic year (i.e. May of one year to May of the following year) during the UTAR Ball.
