All UTAR local students are covered by a group personal accident policy with a minimum coverage as follows:
UTAR Student GPA Insurance Scope of Cover:
Against accidents due to violent, external & visible means round the clock anywhere in the world resulting death or permanent disablement in respect of the following persons: -
Insured Persons: All students of Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman

"HOW TO CLAIM INSURANCE"
The insurance claim forms can be obtained from the Department of Student Affairs (DSA) or download from here. Students are advised to inform DSA as soon as possible in the case of any accidents and to submit the claim form together with the original receipt to DSA as soon as possible. The claim will be disbursed to the student/family concerned after DSA has received the cheque from the insurance company. For more information, kindly contact the DSA officers at your respective campuses.
Note: In order for DSA to process the claims, students will need to settle any outstanding payments first.
