UTAR recognizes that sports and recreation activities are an important part of a well-balanced lifestyle and integral to the complete collegiate experience. In this spirit, DSA-Sports & Recreation Unit strives to offer a wide variety of recreational, instructional and competitive opportunities from which the university community may choose. For example, inter-faculty games, Sports Carnival, UTAR Run are organized yearly where students get to partake as participants, organizers or helpers.
You can also find outdoor gym equipment such as Air Walker, Parallel Bar, Chin Up Bar, Horizontal Ladder, Vertical Bar, Sit Up Bench located at various spots on the beautiful lawn alongside the lake in the Campus. They are there for students and staff to unwind themselves as and when they feel like having a light work-out.
