Kwansei Gakuin University’s(KGU) volunteer programme enables its sudents to gain practical work experience in developing countries. Students in this programme work in a range of organizations such as offices of the International Committee of the Red Cross, offices of non-governmental organizations conducting activities abroad and educational institutions.
My major is International Study. I decided to come to Malaysia because I am eager to know more about the new villages in the country. When I found out that UTAR has a whole project about new villages which is known as “New Village Community Project”, I grabbed this opportunity for me to learn and experience the different cultures here. I also believe that I can improve my communication and leadership skills through this programme. Therefore, UTAR is the most suitable choice for me.
