Kwansei Gakuin University’s(KGU) volunteer programme enables its sudents to gain practical work experience in developing countries. Students in this programme work in a range of organizations such as offices of the International Committee of the Red Cross, offices of non-governmental organizations conducting activities abroad and educational institutions.
There are mainly two reasons why I decided to come here. Staying in this multi-cultural country is one of them as I believe that this experience will prepare me for interaction and communication with people from different backgrounds when I work in the international environment in the future.
Secondly, I am interested in higher education in Malaysia. Therefore, UTAR was the best choice in acquiring this knowledge through spending time with university students.
