GENERAL |
1. All requests for borrowing the event
equipment must be made in advance at DSA office. |
2. Collection of equipment is to be done
at a date and time pre-arranged with the DSA staff-in-charge who issues the
equipment. |
3. The requester is to check all
equipment before leaving the DSA Office. |
4. The equipment borrowed is to be
returned on or before the due date. |
5. Equipment borrowed for overnight or
weekend use must be returned BEFORE 9.30am on the following working day. |
6. The borrower/society/club may be
suspended from future loans if he/she/the society/club is found to have
misused the equipment. |
7. Any damage or loss of equipment must
be reported immediately to the DSA staff-in-charge and follow up in writing. |
8. DSA reserves the rights to cancel any
request or withdraw the loan at any time without prior notice. |

MOBILE/LONG/WHITE BOARD |
1. A
society/club can only borrow a maximum of two (2) sets of mobile/long/mobile
boards during the peak season (week 2 to 4) and is subjected to availability of the boards. |
2. If
any society/club takes the board illegally without permission, the
society/club shall be penalized and barred from borrowing the board for two
trimesters. |
3. The complete set of mobile/long/mobile
board is allowed to be used in Blocks A, B, C and D only. |
4. A student ID card is required for
collection of the board and will be retained until the board is returned. |
5. Collection of mobile/long/white board
on Mon-Fri is 8.30am - 4.30pm |
6. Upon
collection and return of the board, a CHECK LIST is to be completed by the
requester (or his/her representative) and the DSA staff-in-charge. If the
staff-in-charge is not around, the officer-in-charge of the
society/club/event shall assume the staff-in-charge?s role. |

Mobile/Long/White board must be returned to the collection point which is
beside DSA office or in the open space opposite the Wellness Centre. The
student ID card is to be collected at DSA's General Service Counter after the
board is returned. DSA staff-in-charge is to chain back the mobile board
immediately upon its return. |

Return of mobile/long/white board on Mon-Fri is before 4.30pm. If the board
is still being used after 4.30pm, it must be returned by 9.30am on the
following working day. |
9. Upon
return of the board, the staff-in-charge will inspect its condition and if
he/she finds the board is spoilt, in bad shape or has been abused, the
society/club will be given a warning letter and a duplicate copy extended to
the officer-in-charge of the society/club. When a society/club is issued with
THREE (3) warning letters consecutively, the society/club shall be banned for
ONE (1) trimester from borrowing any type of board. The warning letter shall
be issued by the staff-in-charge. |

BOOTH EQUIPMENT |
1. A maximum of one (1) table and four
(4) chairs will be loaned for each booth. |
