General Guidelines for Student Dress Code


A. Clothing
1. Clothing MUST NOT be:
i. Ripped, torn, or contains noticeable holes.
ii. Soiled, stained, odorous or wet.
iii. Excessively short, tight, or revealing.


2. Shirts
i. No tubes, halter tops. Spaghetti straps and shoulder straps should be at least 2” wide.
ii. No t-shirts/ shirts with offensive words, terms, logos, pictures, cartoons or slogans.
iii. Necklines should not be more than one palm width below the collar bone.
iv. Navel, midriff and back should not be exposed.


3. Pants, Slacks and Skirts
i. No shorts, No ¾ pants
ii. No mini-skirts and no tight skirts.
iii. Dress and skirts length should not be shorter than 2 inches above knees.
iv. No torn attire.
v. Pants/ Jeans should be ankle length.

 

B. Foot wear
1. NO flip flops, NO Japanese slippers as well as NO house slippers.
2. Sandals/Shoes WITH STRAPS are allowed.

 

C. Review and Revision
The University reserves the right to rescind and/or amend the student’s dress code at any time.
